What I’m grateful for this week

Here is my day 5 post for my Blogtober challenge and I’m sticking to my regular weekly post where I share what I have been grateful for over the last week. Being grateful and focusing on the positives of our days and week can lead to better wellbeing, happiness, and can really change our outlook on things. It can also help with worry and anxiety.

Here are 5 things I have been grateful for this last week

1. I had a manic day in work and I really wanted to switch off –  my mind was going over the day’s events and I was overthinking about what I could and couldn’t have done about certain things. I am grateful that I had a Podcast to listen to to divert my attention elsewhere. I chose to listen to one of the Food for Fitness episodes by Scott Baptie. He has a 122 episodes, so plenty to keep me going. Also, check out Scott’s recipe that featured in my favourite slow cooker recipe on day 3 of Blogtober.

2. Cereal – I love cereal. This week my favourites have been Rice Krispies and Crunchy Nut Cornflakes.

3. I’m grateful that people are taking the time to read my Blogtober posts. There must be so many bloggers taking part and to see people choosing to read my posts makes me really happy. I plan to read some others when I have a bit more time this weekend.

4. I had to get a urine sample from my 12 year old Westie, Milo, and take it to the vets to get it checked out (getting it was surprisingly easier than I thought). Thankfully the results came back normal. Big relief.

5 I’m grateful for still having light evenings when I finish work.
